25 Degrees
Jenn and I went to 25 Degrees this past Sunday for an early Valentine’s celebration. 25 Degrees is a bar that supposedly serves some of the best burgers in the Los Angeles Area. It is located in the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. We got there around 7:00 pm and the place was less than half filled. It’s my first time going there.
I ordered the Guinness Milkshake, a chocolate milkshake made with Guinness. It was delicious! It had an interesting and lingering taste of chocolate and Guinness fusion with a hint of alcohol. It was not too thick that I could trouble drinking through a straw unlike some. It was definitely one of the best milk shakes that I had.
I ordered the Number 1 (burger with caramelized onion, prelibato gorgonzola crescenza, bacon, arugula, and thousand island) and a side of onion rings. The burger was a bit difficult to eat because it was too tall. Personally, I don’t like it when a burger is stacked too high because it’s not very comfortable to eat when I have to split my jaws open to take a bit. Also, some of the ingredients always spill out and makes a mess. The bun was on a bit hard. The onions were okay. I prefer them to have smaller and fried longer so they are crunchier. I was very full after finishing the burger and the shake. The food was good but not the best. I think rank Father’s Office as the best in my book.
